The Kutik pullover is a seamless model based on a Saddle-Shoulder design. The pullover is knitted as a single piece (Front, Back and two Saddles \/ Sleeves) from top to bottom. Up to the level of the Front neckline, we knit in back and forth rows, and after it with circular knitting.<\/p>\n
This file and the attached materials (pdf files for each size and video files) describe all details of knitting the pullover with Saddle-Shoulder and V-Neck, fitting instructions, silhouette modeling, and alternative design of the welt, cuff, and neck line.
\nThe level of the pattern complexity is average. The necessary skills for knitting this design are:
\n– reading knitting charts (knitting charts are accompanied by a textual description; the video shows an example of knitting deepening the Back neckline based on a chart),
\n– knitting the stockinette stitch evenly, without fluctuations in gauge, regardless of the direction and method of knitting (in back and forth rows, circular knitting, and magic loop),
\n– increasing and decreasing stitches with different leaning,
\n– short rows.
\nAll necessary practical skills are detailed in the file of each size and showed in the video.<\/p>\n
Gauge: 24 sts x 32 rows\/rounds = 10 x 10 cm (4\u201dx4\u201d) in stockinette stitch after wet blocked. The pattern also considers two nearby knitting gauges: 23 sts x 30 (31) rows\/rounds and 25 sts x 33 (34) rows\/rounds in a square of 10 x 10 cm (4\u201dx4″).<\/p>\n
This pullover does not provide much ease of fit, the recommended positive ease for this pullover is 5 to 15%. The pattern is presented for four sizes; it can be used for knitting on a female figure with a chest circumference of 80 to 120 cm [31.5″…47″].
